Brazos Valley Already Hungry for MORE YARD SALES!

Last Friday, I made the Saturday Yard Sale Google Map like I have been doing quite regularly for over a year, but this time with some surprising results.
There is a visit counter that tells me every time I get a unique viewer of the map ( reloading the page will not advance the counter ). Normally, in the height of yard sale season ( summertime), each map show about 60 to 90 yard sales and have a viewer count of about 90.  At the end of this Saturday, even though there were only SIXTEEN yard sales advertised and plotted on the map, my map had 122 views.
If the count is not a fluke, think of what this means. I only advertised the map on the garage sale section of craigslist and on facebook ( I usually also post on craigslist general listing, but not this time ). So, assuming MOST yard sale hunters DO NOT use a computer, and most of those who do, do not go to my facebook page to get a link to the map, AND I still got 122 unique visits, then there were a LOT of yard sale hunters on the road Saturday.
This tells me that even though it's the dead of winter, yard sale season is in full swing. From now though Christmas, any Saturday that is not experiencing a flood/hail/tornado is a good day for a yard sale. It's a sellers market.

Yesterday's Treasures Vendors Transition to New Store

Two of the main vendors from Yesterday's Treasures are all set up and doing business at a new Antiques and Collectibles store ,Antiqueables, on South College in Bryan.  Skip's Stones set up last month, and Vendor #10 (me) finished my basic set up yesterday.

This is Vendor #10's current set up at Antiqueables.

Vendor #12 , Celia (will be assigned a new number), is working on a more elaborate setup and will need another week or two to be up and running.

So, the Antiqueables store is open Tues-Sat from 10AM to 5PM
Hope to see you there.
